History of Tebag Elementary School 101830

 Everything has a beginning  ...

"Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world"
-Nelson Mandela.

People believed that the only legacy that a parent can give to his children is a good education. In those days, where life was still so simple, the Barangay leaders with some parents who shared the same vision group together and came up with a very noble legacy.

With the effort of the different stakeholders, parents ,officials Tebag Elementary School  was realized.

It was January 1973 when the siblings -Romeo, Benny and their cousin Ray made a joke. With their creative minds, they printed on a piece of plywood a  plan  showing a school saying " On this site will rise a school" They posted the plan on a tree and told themselves that they will use the piece of land where they stood up at that moment to put up a school. After several days, with the generous hearts of Mr. and Mrs. Teodoro Soriano, they donated the piece of lot where the boys made their plan. Thus, Mr. and Mrs. Teodoro Soriano became the proponent lof this noble deed which resulted in the creation of barangay elementary school.

On April 1973,the Tebag Barangay Council led by late Capt.Pastor Barrozo with the Barangay Officials namely Dona Maria Eucapor,Dona C. Soriano, Don L. Tibigar and Don F. Cereno made a resolution asking permission to put  up a school in Tebag. It was on May 1973 that the resolution was approved. The land donated by Mr. and Mrs. Teodoro Soriano was the first location of the school. It is where the Home Economics building where the Garden House  Building stood up. It was through bayanihan
process  wherein the school was build up.The post then were bamboos and the sidings were covered from weaved leaves of coconuts.Mrs.Natividad Fabia was the first School Head of the School together with the pioneer teachers namely Mr. celestino Eucapor, Mrs. Lourdes Aquino and Mrs. Revilla. The very first PTA President then was Atty. Elpidio Barrozo.

Before the end of School Year 1973-1 974, a popular contest was conducted. The money was used for the construction of 2 rooms P.T.A. Building. It was used as classrooms for Grade V and VI for the -School year 1974-1975.It was on the month of November 1974 when a direct form for Bagong Lipunan Buiding arrived through the help of Mr.Raymundo Soriano and Kgd. Francisco Mercado. The said building was finished on December 1975.

On January 1976, Mrs. Natividad Fabia was transfered to Macayug Elementary School, Mrs. Gloria P. Billote was the School Head then ..Due to the increasing pupil population, the PTA initiated a popularity contest to raise  money to purchase a lot from Mr.Dading and Mr. Domingo Barrozo for the extension of the school. This was done through the help of Atty Elpidio Barrozo, the PTA President, By then ,3 more classrooms were constructed.

On December 1978, The Tebag Elementary School was awarded the First Price Winner on the most beautiful and Cleanest School in Mangaldan. The school's five (5) building houses  seven (7) academic classrooms and one (1) Principal 's Office which also served as

Dealing with Rejection.

Dealing with Rejection

  by: DOMITILA L. MAPA,Ph.D

Keeping your brain focused helps the mind to recognize ,to accept the rejection .” as a blessing, into a more positive way and the result is humility. Awareness is the first step towards change. If you love your life , don't waste it, deal the storm clouds gently and with happy heart and make your own history.

TIPS IN DEALING REJECTIONS

1.  Acknowledge  Your Emotions

When there is pain in emotions  brought about by other people ,instead of  suppress, ignore, or deny the pain, smart people acknowledge their emotions. They admit when they're embarrassed, sad, disappointed, or discouraged. They have confidence in their ability to deal with uncomfortable emotions head-on, which is essential to coping with their discomfort in a healthy manner. The best way to deal with uncomfortable emotions is to face them head-on.
Manage your emotions. Be calm , do not let your anger overcome you.Practice Emotional intelligence . Your ability to recognize and understand emotions in yourself and others will lead to a better behavior and relationships. The ability to use this awareness to manage your behavior and relationships , will brought a peaceful disposition.
Enchance your courage. Ignore the people who do not like you,They are not the only friends around.Being alone is not a sin rather going to them and feel sad.
Think about all of the positives that you will experience if you are courageous and seek to learn everything that you can about the causes of and circumstances of your rejection.
Wear your sweetest smile. . Do that every morning and you'll start to see a big difference
in your life..

FILL YOUR MUG!

by : DOMITILA L. MAPA

Always love yourself more and be contented  of what you can offer in this   world . Be happy for life is too short. Trust yourself, no one will ever to that except yourself first .If you have this things, life become lighter and easier. You won’t make as many mountains out of molehills as you used to.Increasing self-esteem and self-love also makes you feel more deserving of good things in life and so you’ll self-sabotage less and go after what you deep down want with more motivation and focus than ever before. Life will be  much happier and more fun.

As years pass by and our age  grow older, we gain more wisdom, we  realized  that wearing a      Php 10,000 or a Php 250 watch - - they both tell the same time. Whether we carry a Php3,000
or a Php 300.00 wallet/handbag - - the amount of money inside is the same. Whether we drink a bottle of Php 300 or Php 30 wine - - the hangover is the same. Whether the house we live in is 300 or 3,000 sq. ft. - - loneliness is the same.

You will realize, your true inner happiness does not come from the material things of this world.
Therefore, I hope you realize, when you have mates, buddies and old friends, brothers and sisters, who you chat with, laugh with, talk with, have sung songs with, talk about north-south-east-west or heaven and earth - - avoid
standing in one’s own sunshine. That is true happiness!!

The School Head of Change

The School Head of Change
by: LEO E. BLAQUIR, Ed. D
Principal III
MANGALDAN  NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL

Growing up in a beautiful and peaceful town of Mangaldan, teachers were revered and respected for the work that they did with students, and they always made an effort to connect with parents to bring them in on the learning process of their child, not just with developing intelligence, but developing students as people.  The notion of, “it takes a village”, is something that I believe in deeply, and believe that it is more important now than ever.

As an administrator, I have the opportunity to become better by continuously being able to inspire teachers, students and the whole community, the stakeholders   and be able to see what the most effective teachers do. Through the use of different technologies such as blogging and Twitter, we open up our classrooms to other educators not only in our own schools, but to schools around the world to bring them in on this collaboration.  As I always focus on “what is best for students”, it is crucial that we look  to not only help our own students, but how we can help other students from around the globe as well.  As we tell our students when they walk into our schools, we must ensure that we create a culture of sharing within our own community to learn from others around the world, as well as within our own community.  The most innovative environments outside of school tap into the “wisdom of the room” and bring in different voices to continuously learn and grow; schools must do the same.

All About Direct Selling and Networking

All About Direct Selling and Networking
by Domitila L. Mapa,Ph.D

What is Direct Selling? What makes it different to that of a networker? Who is more successful, a Direct Seller or a Networker?

Many people opted to be a direct seller as their additional work to augment their family income .But many times their products are not on cash basis. There customers are fond of two gives or 15/30 mode  which means they will pay on the 15th day or 30th day of the month for that is the day where they receive their salaries. It is seldom a consignment method of payment .
But some younger ones follow the networking approach, they are good and smart  in it,
They have an  unlimited access of  income  , it doesn't follow  how high  your education is, but how smart you are in dealing with people .Networking is about making connections  and building enduring, mutually beneficial relationships.Creating a group of acquaintances and associates and keeping it active through regular communication for mutual benefit. Networking is based on the question "How can I help?" and not with "What can I get?" Many  are afraid to venture in net working, but they want to  sell products.Though there are companies that offer direct selling with networking but still some are lukewarm and think that its is a scam .

To know more deeper, let's differentiate  Direct Selling to that of Networking .In  the end, it's you who will decide which path of success will you follow.

Direct Selling is an assertive, face-to-face  selling approach  where the independent salesperson commonly presents his product or service to a prospect at his work place, or office. it is a house to house sales, Companies tend to market higher-priced, one-time purchase items, such as Avon and Cook wares filters.Receiving customer feedback in person holds an advantage in adapting to market changes quickly.Residual income is money earned on successive sales.

The majority of available profit is paid to the salesperson. Once the sale is complete, the direct salesperson moves on to the next customer to generate another potential sale. Although the direct salesperson earns a higher percentage than management, the potential for earning residual income is severely limited.Large businesses utilize widespread, intensive distribution methods to market products nationwide. Direct salespeople are often bound by sale territories, time and physical availability. The most successful direct salespeople only earn money on their personal sales. Growing a distribution force of other salespeople is normally reserved for sales managers

Multilevel Marketing is not actually marketing, but an additional technique to systematize and compensate direct salespeople. It is better depicted as a direct selling compensation plan where salespeople receive payment in a variety of ways. Multilevel marketing representatives also approach customers, but usually begin with a list of friends, relatives and other amiable acquaintances. Cosmetics, vitamins and other regularly restocked products are compatible with the multilevel marketing model. As consumers reorder consumable goods, this creates residual income and marks a distinction from direct sales. multi-level marketers earn much lower commissions on initial retail sales, but produce residual income from their customers' reorders. The greatest part of this commission is funneled to upper management on the multilevel marketing distribution line. The distributors are customers who also recruit more distributors. This can create levels of long-term residual income with management bonuses. According to the WFDSA, multilevel marketing offers independent business opportunities through building and training a distribution team to duplicate the selling process.

Therefore ,the difference between direct sales and multilevel marketing methods is
primarily in compensation arrangements. Both direct sales and multilevel marketing are avenues for businesses to retail their products straight to the consumer. Each selling method operates at the end of a chain of distribution that culminates with the buyer receiving the product or service. Personal selling is important in building customer relationships and communication.
